Italian mountain restaurant
It is the most unexpected room on the mountain: soaring ceilings, marble, hand-made brick, mosaic columns and a four-metre horse, a set that quotes the workshops of the Italian Renaissance and Leonardo da Vinci without a trace of irony. The menu is signed by Denny Imbroisi, and it is frankly Italian: antipasti, pasta, fresh produce and Mediterranean simplicity, served facing the peaks. Lunch service only, half past twelve to half past four. It is my choice when clients want the altitude without the cabaret.
You lunch here in ski gear, boots on, as everyone does and nobody will look at you. Just bring an extra layer for the terrace, you cool down quickly once you sit.
