Airelles Val d'Isère

It is the only ski-in ski-out five-star in the centre of Val d'Isère, and at over eighteen hundred metres you feel it the moment you arrive: you click in outside the door. The building is the former Hôtel Le Brussel's, taken over in 2017 and reopened in December 2019 as Mademoiselle, before joining the Airelles collection. Forty-one rooms and suites by Christophe Tollemer, including five large apartments and a chalet. On the dining side the house plays a hand that is rare in the mountains: Matsuhisa, the only one in the French Alps, Palladio for Italian, La Grande Ourse for historic Savoyard at the foot of the slopes, and Le Piaf in the Manchet valley for late evenings.
