This is the other way of flying over Mont Blanc, and many of our clients do not know it exists. You leave from the same altiport, but in a small propeller aircraft, and the flight bears no resemblance. The aeroplane is steadier, quieter in the cabin, and holds one long even curve around the massif where a helicopter works in back-and-forth passes. Put plainly: the aeroplane gives a wide, continuous view, the helicopter lets you come close to one face and stay on it. We will tell you which to choose according to what you are after, and we have no interest in pushing you towards either. Our own preference, if asked: the aeroplane for a first overflight, when you want to understand the geography of the massif. The helicopter when you want the sensation. The front seats are the best ones, and they are worth booking.
