Panoramic helicopter flight
Megève's altiport sits at 1,472 metres with a 434-metre runway, you take off in the mountains already, and the massif is there two minutes into the flight. That is the whole point of leaving from here rather than the valley: you are not billed for contemplating fields on the way in. Mont Blanc rises a little over 4,800 metres, and from a helicopter it resembles no photograph: what strikes you is not the summit but the scale of the glaciers beneath it. A word of candour, better heard before than after: this flight depends entirely on the weather. We do not take off into a haze that would have you paying for a grey ceiling, and we would rather move you a day than fly you for nothing. When the window is good, it is best in the morning.
The options
The aiguilles circuit
The short format. You lift off, gain height over the Val d'Arly and run alongside the aiguilles. The summit is there, facing you, and you come back down. This is the flight we recommend for a first time, or when the weather window is narrow.
The full massif circuit
The complete circuit: the great glaciers, the Dôme du Goûter, the Mer de Glace and the return down the valley. It needs a clear day, which is exactly why we hold the decision until the morning itself.

Pricing
From €1,000 per helicopter, up to 6 passengers
The price is for the aircraft, not the seat: whether there are two of you or six, the helicopter costs the same. With six on board it works out at under €170 a head, against expectation, it is the cheapest overflight per person as soon as you fill the cabin. Beyond the entry price, it is the length of the circuit and the aircraft chosen that push the figure up. We always charter privately: you never share the cabin with other clients.
