The address has a history few restaurants can claim: it was opened by Killy Sport for its seventieth anniversary, and you dine surrounded by a collection of vintage skis spanning more than a century, over a thousand pairs, including Jean-Claude Killy's own. The menu is simple and unapologetic: cheese fondues, meat fondues, raclette. It is what I suggest for families and tables of friends who ski seriously: the setting makes the conversation, and nobody needs the pot explained to them.
