Le marché de Saint-Tropez

The Place des Lices market runs on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, from eight to one, all year round, and it is the one moment when Saint-Tropez becomes a Var village again. You find seasonal fruit and vegetables, a fish hall worth the detour on its own, charcuterie, olives, but also linen, brocante and makers set up under the plane trees. Our advice fits in a sentence: come early. From half past ten in summer, you no longer move. We can have you accompanied by a guide who knows the good stalls, or by a chef who does his market with you before cooking at your villa the same evening.
