L'Étincelle

At the foot of the slopes, a chalet with a fireplace and several sun-facing terraces, that makes its reputation as much as the menu does. Chef Pierre-Yves Casanova works grilled meats, fresh fish and generously topped pizzas, with house pastries that should not be skipped. It is the flexible address: lunch on the terrace with skis on, a family dinner in the evening, and enough room to seat a group without scattering it across three tables. Open December to early May.
