Airelles Saint-Tropez, Pan Deï Palais

The Pan Deï was built in 1835 by General Jean-François Allard for the Indian princess Bannu Pan Deï, and the house has never disowned that story: four-poster beds, rich fabrics, furniture drawn from the great residences of Rajasthan, a mosaic pool. Only twelve rooms and suites, on Rue Gambetta, a few metres from Place des Lices and the port, you are in the middle of the village and yet inside a bubble. The smallest house in our Tropezian book, and by far the most transporting.
