Les Fermes de Marie is the house that invented alpine luxury as we now understand it: Jocelyne and Jean-Louis Sibuet bought mountain farms, took them apart and rebuilt them beam by beam across a two-hectare park above the village. The result is a hamlet, not a hotel, you cross from one chalet to another through the snow. Two tables inside, Le Restaurant des Fermes for mountain cooking and Le Carnotzet for cheese, and a Pure Altitude spa, the skincare line born here.
