Le Strato is a family house turned palace, ski-in ski-out on the heights of Courchevel 1850, with an architecture markedly more contemporary than its neighbours'. Its table, Baumanière 1850, is overseen by Jean-André Charial (of L'Oustau de Baumanière in Les Baux-de-Provence) which gives the menu a Provençal accent unexpected at this altitude. The spa completes the picture. Our recommendation when you want palace comfort without the chalet setting.
