Le Chabichou is the oldest house on this list: a 1963 chalet, recognisable by its white façade, that watched the resort become what it is. Forty-one keys, each decorated differently, in a mountain spirit that is committed without being folkloric. Stéphane Buron, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, holds one star there in the 2026 guide, and Le Chabotté runs the bistro year-round.
