Aquamotion is the largest mountain aquatic centre in Europe, and it is the facility that saves bad-weather days in Courchevel. Two worlds share one roof: on the play side, pools, slides, a river, a surf wave and a climbing wall, where you drop the children. On the wellness side, saunas, hammams and adults-only pools, where you genuinely recover after three days of skiing. We buy the tickets online (cheaper than at the desk) and suggest going in the early afternoon, when ski lessons resume and the centre empties.
The options
The Aqualudique area
The family side: pools, slides, a river, a surf wave and a climbing wall. This is where you send the children on a bad-weather day, and the only thing in Courchevel that occupies them for a full half-day without argument.
The Aquawellness area
Saunas, hammams and relaxation pools, for over-eighteens only, so, quiet, which is the point. The real alternative to a hotel spa when you want to recover after a big day without paying treatment prices.

Entry from €17
Two areas, two tickets. The Aqualudique area starts at around €17 for adult entry outside the holidays and goes past €20 in high season, with a markedly lower child rate and free entry under five. The Aquawellness area, for over-eighteens only, sits at around €32 to €35. The combined ticket ran at about €40 online last season, against €43 at the desk. These are last season's orders of magnitude: we confirm the day's rate before booking, and we buy online, where it is cheaper.
