On Rue Hoche, a few steps from the Croisette, Volupté is the morning address. Breakfast from 8.30 to 11.30 (organic eggs, viennoiseries, house bread) then brunch, salads and pastries through the afternoon. It isn't a grand table and doesn't pretend to be: it's a gentle place to start the day well, before Cannes gets going. The cheesecake is worth the detour. Rarely any need to book. We call ahead if you are a large party.
