La Mourra picked one brand and stayed with it: Susanne Kaufmann, fifth generation of the Hotel Post in Bezau, in the Austrian Bregenzerwald, who built her range on the plants of her own valley and the preventive rituals of Alpine tradition. Hands come before machines (lymphatic drainage, facial release, shiatsu, deep tissue, trigger point work) and the menu is unashamedly short: thirty minutes, one hour, ninety minutes. This is the spa to book when you want a properly held massage rather than a circuit of facilities. We set the slots when the chalet is booked.
