La Môme Monte-Carlo
Rooftop restaurant
La Môme has placed its rooftop on top of the Port Palace, and the view does half the work: the Prince's Palace on one side, Port Hercule below, the Grand Prix circuit running under your feet. The cooking is Mediterranean and built for sharing, in the spirit of the Cannes original. This is the dinner that runs long: you sit at eight, the light drops, the music rises, and nobody wants to leave. In May, during the Grand Prix, it is another sport entirely, talk to me months ahead.
Elegant but relaxed. You dine well dressed without stiffness, and as the evening runs on, shoes you can stand up in.
