Two stars, clinging to a rocky peak four hundred metres above the sea: the Chèvre d'Or is one of the rare tables where the setting holds its own against the plate. Tom Meyer, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2023, cooks a highly worked Mediterranean cuisine drawing on the estate's garden, three hundred citrus plants grow there. You climb on foot through Èze's medieval lanes, which is part of the ritual. Book far ahead, and go at sunset if you let me choose the hour.
We advise a jacket for men, no tie needed. Nothing is imposed, but it is a room where dressing up is part of the pleasure.
