Cipriani Monte-Carlo

Cipriani applies in Monaco the recipe that has worked since Harry's Bar opened in Venice in 1931: little whimsy, a great deal of craft. Carpaccio, tagliolini gratinated with ham, a bellini, the menu does not move, and that is precisely what you come for. The room is dressed like the interior of a yacht, and the service belongs to an old school that is disappearing. Lunch and dinner, Sunday brunch, closed Tuesdays. I always book, even midweek.
