Château Eza occupies a four-hundred-year-old building, once a Swedish prince's residence, clinging to the same rocky spur as its starred neighbour. The terrace gives a hundred and eighty degrees of Mediterranean, to my mind the finest dinner view on the whole coast. Justin Schmitt cooks a modern, personal, starred cuisine there. At midday, the L'Horizon menu is more Mediterranean and simpler. I recommend it for dinner for two: it is not an address for a large table.

The dress we advise

We advise a jacket for men, no tie needed. Nothing is imposed, but it is a room where dressing up is part of the pleasure.
