The Café de Paris has stood on the Place du Casino since 1868, and its terrace remains the best observation post in Monaco: the cars, the people, the Casino façade opposite. The 2023 refit by David Collins Studio made it lighter and larger without stripping its Belle Époque soul, which was far from a given. The menu is unashamed brasserie: seafood platter, sole, crêpe Suzette flambéed at the table. You do not come for haute cuisine. You come to watch Monaco go by.
